In view of the upcoming UN Ocean conference in Nice on 9-13 June , Comite 21 is calling for  better protection of the Ocean alongside more than 80 signatories representing business and supporting organizations from 25 countries.

As a signatory of the Business Call to Action “Land and sea, a vital connection for a thriving and resilient economy” convened by leading international business networks, Comite 21 wishes to underscore the vital, interconnected role of coastal and marine environments in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

▶️ We call on all businesses to accelerate their commitments to keep the ocean healthy and to act through a range of business initiatives.

▶️ We call policy makers to pursue ambitious science-driven policies and measures that stimulate sustainable business action and to jointly address land and ocean.
